Refund and Cancellation Policy

Company: Smart IT Host

1. Overview

This Refund Policy outlines the conditions under which Smart IT Host provides refunds for hosting and related services. By purchasing any service, you agree to this policy.

2. Money‑Back Guarantee

Selected shared hosting plans include a [7/15/30]-day money‑back guarantee. Refund requests must be submitted within the eligible period via client area or support ticket.

3. Non‑Refundable Services

The following services are non-refundable:

  • Domain registration, renewal or transfer
  • VPS, Cloud or Dedicated Servers
  • SSL certificates and software licenses
  • Setup fees
  • Custom development services
  • Promotional/discounted services
  • Renewal payments

Domain registrations are non-refundable once completed.

4. Refund Conditions

Refunds are subject to the following conditions:

  • Request must be within guarantee period
  • No violation of Terms, AUP or FUP
  • No abuse, spam, or illegal activity

5. Service Delivery Failure & Refund Eligibility

If Smart IT Host is unable to provide the purchased service due to technical or administrative reasons and fails to resolve the issue within a reasonable timeframe, the customer may be eligible for a full or partial refund.

Refund determination will be based on:

  • The nature and severity of the issue
  • The duration of service unavailability
  • The remaining billing period
  • The specific type of service purchased

Refunds will not be applicable in cases involving:

  • Customer misconfiguration or misuse
  • Third-party software or application issues
  • Suspension due to policy violations
  • Scheduled maintenance or force majeure events

Smart IT Host reserves the right to provide a partial refund, service credit, or alternative resolution at its sole discretion.

6. Refund Processing

Refunds are processed within 7–14 business days. Payment gateway fees may be deducted.

7. Cancellation Policy

Customers may cancel services at any time through the client area or by contacting support. The following terms apply to service cancellations:

  • Immediate Cancellation: Services can be cancelled immediately, and access will be terminated at the time of cancellation. No refunds are provided for the remaining billing period unless covered by the money-back guarantee.
  • End of Billing Period: Services can be scheduled for cancellation at the end of the current billing period, allowing continued access until the period expires.
  • Automatic Renewal: Services are set to auto-renew by default. Customers must cancel services before the renewal date to avoid automatic billing. Failure to cancel before renewal will result in charges for the new billing period.
  • Cancellation Request: Cancellation requests must be submitted through the client area or via support ticket. Verbal or informal requests may not be processed.
  • Data Backup: Customers are responsible for backing up all data before cancellation. Smart IT Host is not responsible for data loss after service termination.
  • Domain Cancellation: Domain registrations cannot be cancelled once completed. Domains will remain active until expiration unless transferred to another registrar.
  • Refund Eligibility: Cancelled services are only eligible for refunds if the cancellation occurs within the money-back guarantee period and meets all refund conditions.
  • Outstanding Invoices: All outstanding invoices must be paid before cancellation can be processed. Unpaid invoices may result in account suspension.

Once a service is cancelled, it cannot be reactivated. Customers must purchase a new service if they wish to continue using our services.

8. Chargebacks

Chargebacks without contacting support may result in suspension or termination of services.

9. Policy Updates

Smart IT Host may update this policy anytime. Continued service use implies acceptance.
